Only Good Things About Books

“A discussion with several book publishers (Ștefania Ferchedău from The Institute of the Present, which runs the Parkour project, Florin Fâra, founder of Secret Garden and of the Sit and Read Fair) and with a keeper of books, Răzvan Pop, Director of the ASTRA Library in Sibiu.
The aim is to familiarize the public with an unfamiliar territory: artists’ publications, both in general and in particular.
VAT on printed matter has doubled, while costs (printing, transport, etc.) continue to rise. How do niche publishers cope?
The conditions for preserving, storing, and restoring books. How is the Library coping today? Does anyone still go to the Library?
Can we create a special collection of this type of publication at the ASTRA Library? What would that entail?”
