For the past twenty-eight years, SIPAM has been a catalyst for numerous international collaborations, contributing meaningfully and credibly to the artistic ecosystem of the Sibiu International Theatre Festival (FITS).

The 2024 edition marked major milestones, including the official rebranding as SIPAM, reinforcing its international presence, and the introduction of the Pitch Project Session, which received over 100 submissions, with 10 selected for live presentation before a distinguished jury. Networking remained at the heart of the Market, enabling strong partnerships and meaningful industry connections.

The aim of the 2025 edition is to reflect the sector’s most pressing urgencies while fostering critical reflection and international cooperation. Through a diverse program that includes cultural diplomacy forums, pitch sessions, festival dialogues, institutional showcases, and dedicated networking formats, SIPAM acts as a vibrant space where ideas, initiatives, and people meet. This edition reaffirms the Market’s commitment to building a more inclusive, collaborative, and sustainable future for the performing arts.
