The third day was highlighted by standing ovations. A packed conference with Éric-Emmanuel Schmitt and a special gift received by Constantin Chiriac, president of FITS, from the Turkish State Theaters.

The day began with Éric-Emmanuel Schmitt in conversation with Ionuț Sociu, at Forumul Democrat al Germanilor (Sala Oglinzilor), where the hall was packed with people. The conference was opened by Constantin Chiriac, president of FITS, who came in person to thank Éric-Emmanuel Schmitt. After the event, the Belgian playwright gave autographs for over one hour and a half.

Flamenco Fusion, a unique and exciting theatrical experience that combines the passion and talent of Spanish dance and flamenco with the freshness and innovation of jazz, performed a final performance at this year’s edition. 

The show Blood Wedding, directed by Hunor Horváth, which received a UNITER award, was performed twice, at 4 PM and 8 PM, captivating the audience with its dynamic music. 

At Fabrica de Cultură, The Glass Garden, a production by Mihai Eminescu National Theatre in Chișinău, moved all the spectators and received multiple rounds of applause. 

Howard Gospel Choir, the first choir of its kind in the world, performed contemporary and traditional gospel, as well as church hymns, Negro spirituals and classically arranged anthems at Biserica Ursulinelor. 

The Seer, a production by Milo Rau, explored the tragedy of the contemporary world in an exceptional directorial vision.

The second performance of Medea Material also took place yesterday, at Filarmonica de Stat Sibiu (Thalia Hall). At the end, the president of FITS, Constantin Chiriac, received a special gift, sent by the chairman of the Turkish State Theaters for the excellent collaboration in the last few years.

The day ended with ADN, Odyssée verticale, a show that combined acrobatics, aerial dance, and circus in spectacular vertical choreography, at a height of 40 metres, in the Large Square.
