The 32nd Sibiu International Theatre Festival spans ten days and features over 842 events—ranging from theatre and dance to music, circus, exhibitions, and more—with more than 5,000 artists from 82 countries convening between June 20–29, 2025.
As part of our FITS Recommends series—designed to guide our guests in Sibiu to the day’s most unmissable performances—June 24 (the festival’s midpoint) delivers a thrilling lineup:
“Uncle Vanya,” directed by Neil LaBute, staged at the Radu Stanca National Theatre Sibiu, “Ten Thousand Hours”, Australian Contemporary Circus, “Intra Muros,” Alexis Michalik’s latest play, confirming his singular artistic vision, “Herbarium”, by Simona Popescu and Radu Afrim, winner of a UNITER Award.
On the festival’s fifth day, over 15 countries will showcase more than 10 captivating performances—10 of them free and outdoors—and 3 will be streamed online. The lowest-priced ticket for the day is just 30 lei.
