The Final Day of FITS Features The Letter – Folk Theatre by Milo Rau, FAUST, and the Multimedia Drone, Light & Music Show

The 33rd edition of the Sibiu International Theatre Festival brings together 848 events over ten days filled with theatre, dance, music, circus, exhibitions and much more. More than 5,000 artists from 83 countries are taking part in this year's Festival.

As every year, throughout the Festival (19–28 June), FITS presents FITS Recommends, a daily guide highlighting some of the day's most exciting events, helping audiences in Sibiu make the best and most inspiring choices.

On 28 June, the final day of the Festival, audiences are invited to experience The Letter – Folk Theatre by Milo Rau, Faust directed by Silviu Purcărete, a special conversation featuring Ștefan Câlția, Silviu Purcărete and Vasile Șirli in dialogue with Emil Hurezeanu, the Horia Brenciu & HB Orchestra live concert, and the spectacular multimedia drone, light and music show.

The tenth festival day features performances from more than 15 countries, over 15 free outdoor performances, 2 productions streamed online, and tickets starting at only 30 RON.

Sibiu International Theatre Festival: 848 Events and 5,000 Artists from 83 Countries

The Sibiu International Theatre Festival (FITS), one of the world's largest and most important performing arts festivals, takes place this year from 19 to 28 June. The 33rd edition, held under the theme SOUL, features 848 events and welcomes more than 5,000 artists from 83 countries.

This year's theme—SOUL—emphasises that beyond technology lies the human soul, whether that of the artist or the spectator.

The FITS mobile application includes the complete Festival programme, allows users to personalise their schedules and offers many additional features. The app is available free of charge on both Google Play for Android and the App Store for iOS.
