In Romania, Roma communities are still facing economic, cultural and educational barriers, which perpetuate their social exclusion in some situations. ELIJAH Music School's main mission is to promote accessible and quality music education for all children - predominantly from disadvantaged social backgrounds in the Hârtibaciului Valley. Elijah supports traditional Roma music because this concept has the power to break down barriers, acting as a tool for inclusion.
