Nordic identity is explored through a kaleidoscope of feelings and memories. Expect poetic passages, associative images, and interaction between bodies and more during the performance of “The Cello”. The purpose? To give logic to movements and visual dramaturgy, similar to listening to classical music.

It all comes together as a chamber work, inspired by the intimate theatrical stage. As always with Jo Strømgren, the narrative is packed with both emotions and irony, with imagination and pointed wit – and with his unmistakable Nordic choreographic signature.
