Cantus Mundi is Romania’s largest music-based integration program for children, founded in 2011 by conductor Ion Marin and run by the Madrigal Choir. The program brings together 2,510 choirs and over 87,000 children. At FITS, the artistic concept “The Cazanoi Brothers’ Taraf, Ioana Ștefan, and the Cantus Mundi Choirs” highlights the authenticity of Romanian folk music, in dialogue with the energy of the younger generations, who take the stage alongside established artists. Together with the “Cazanoi Brothers” band, Ioana Ștefan enriches the performance with her sensitivity and expressive interpretation.
