The performance explores the absurd universe of Urmuz’s prose and the question of power, constructing a symbolic and metaphorical vision of authority relationships. Within this world, two forms of power collide: one based on seduction and influence, embodied by Smail, and another grounded in force and blackmail, represented by Turnavitu.
Moving between grotesque, comedy, and tragedy, the performance highlights the drama of the individual lost in a hostile and difficult-to-understand world. Absurd language and the blend of humour, metaphysics, and social critique turn this staging into a theatrical exercise inspired by the spirit of the avant-garde and the radical aesthetic of Urmuz.
An absurd and incisive play, in which Urmuz’s universe becomes a satire on power and alienation.
