Within the framework of the Sibiu International Theatre Festival, the Sibiu Branch of UAPR presents one of the most significant exhibition projects of the year: the Visual Arts Salon of UAP Sibiu, an event distinguished by its international participation.

In resonance with the thematic direction of this prestigious festival, the participating artists propose a visual meditation on the concept of the Soul, articulated between the fragility of matter and the affective memory embedded within the image. The soul is approached both as a living presence and as a fragile, transitional, contemplative, almost ritualistic, state of being. The works brought together within the exhibition construct a space of introspection, where the artistic gesture becomes a form of inner respiration, while sign and symbol acquire poetic density.

Beyond the aesthetic discourse, these artistic interventions open a sensitive field of perception: a territory of whispered meanings, silence, light, shadow, and fertile unrest, through which the soul is invoked. For the value of art does not reside solely in aesthetic perfection, but rather in its capacity to preserve what is profoundly human. As long as humanity continues to feel, to love, and to hope, the soul will require art just as breathing requires air.

As in previous editions, the participating visual artists will contribute to the complexity of the visual spectacle of the Sibiu International Theatre Festival, enriching its messages of friendship, gratitude, spiritual communion, and the shared joy of being together.
