Rami Be’er is one of Israel’s leading choreographers and Artistic Director of Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company (KCDC). A former dancer with the company, he was mentored by founder Yehudit Arnon and has led KCDC to international acclaim for over three decades. Be’er’s emotionally rich and visually striking works have been performed at elite festivals and theaters around the world. His signature movement language is taught in dance centers globally. Under his leadership, KCDC launched KCDC 2 for emerging talent and established the International Dance Village in Kibbutz Ga’aton. This dynamic hub hosts international programs such as the 5-month Dance Journey and the Kibbutz Summer Intensive. Be’er is honored to return to the Sibiu International Theater Festival with one of his newest creations, The Director’s Cut, a powerful work originally created in celebration of the company’s 50th anniversary.
