Felix Mircea Moldovan, a percussionist trained at the “Gheorghe Dima” Academy and the first Romanian resident at the famous Amnesia club in Ibiza, founded the Barbarossa Samba Group in 2012 Romania’s first traditional samba troupe, which has since become a veritable school of its kind.
With roots in authentic Brazilian percussion, the group delivers explosive live performances that blend rhythm, dance, and pure emotion. From the UNTOLD Festival to Japan, Croatia, and Macedonia, Barbarossa ignites crowds around the world with energy, vibes, and sound.
