By: Ada Milea & Anca Hanu, After: O SCRISOARE PIERDUTĂ de I.L. Caragiale
Teatrul Național Lucian Blaga Cluj Napoca
Ada Milea plays in a novel way with the classic characters of the ridiculous Romanian political class, never denying her always inventive and explosive style. The everlasting party interests, above any civic or moral sense, the passionate backstage dramas, the always excusable stealing and the obedience in front of those in power, the empty patriotism and the stupid naivety, the permanent state of drunkenness that erases the last chances of clear thinking of the human with common sense, compose a fabulous score and a monstrously comic panorama of a society that has not been going away since the 19th century.
The show is a successful sample of popular theatre, touched by the glitter of commercial kitsch, giving a good mood. (Adrian Țion)
