Asociația Omie din Sibiu, Kultur Tandem International e.V Heidelberg
Photography “Manifest Gen Z” is an international photography exhibition created within the Erasmus+ project Photographic Dialogues, bringing together 24 young participants from Sibiu (Romania), and the Heidelberg–Mannheim region (Germany). Through mobile phone photography, the participants explore identity, memory, everyday spaces, and the ways in which their generation perceives the contemporary world.
Over several months of workshops and intercultural exchanges held in Romania and Germany, the young photographers worked alongside professional photographers and visual storytelling mentors, transforming their emotions, questions, and personal experiences into images with strong artistic impact. The result of this collective process is a „Visual Manifesto of Generation Z”— a collection of photographs that speaks about authenticity, diversity, connection, and dialogue beyond cultural borders.
The exhibition invites visitors to discover the perspectives of a new European generation and to engage in a visual dialogue shaped through light, color, and personal stories. Each photograph becomes a bridge between cultures and a sincere testimony to the realities experienced by young people in Romania and Germany today.
The exhibition will be open to the public at OMiE – a free space for ideas without barriers, a venue dedicated entirely to photography and photography-based education, from June 18 to July 1, 2026, daily between 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM. The opening reception will take place on June 18, 2026, at 6:00 PM, marking the launch of an artistic initiative dedicated to visual dialogue, free expression, and the encounter between people, images, and ideas in an open community setting.
The project is initiated by the OMiE Association (Romania) in partnership with KulturTandem International e.V. (Germany), with the support of the Erasmus+ Programme. Co-funded by the European Union.
