"LYSISTRATA" is an unprecedented show on the theater scene of the Republic of Moldova

The author of the play, the famous Romanian playwright Matei Vișniec, launched the text of the play in February 2022, followed by the comment "...Europeans have realized that against the background of peace, consumer society, the expansion of the entertainment industry and the fascination with virtual worlds, they have forgotten that freedom must be defended..."

Thus, Matei Vișniec recovers the myth of Aristophanes' Lysistrata in a text in which the contemporary world, the masculine and the feminine continue to impose themselves contradictorily.
