CASUAL WARexplores the fragility of peace in a world permanently poised on the edge of conflict. The exhibition reflects on the underlying tension between political alliances, strategic interests, and human ego within a global context where the outbreak of war is no longer a distant possibility, but a constant and familiar threat.
In this unstable landscape, reversals of allegiance no longer come as a surprise. Allies may turn their weapons against one another, while relationships between states become fragile transactions shaped by immediate interests, personal ambitions, primitive instincts, and power games. Diplomacy gradually erodes, giving way to a direct and brutal assertion of authority, where power is no longer negotiated but imposed without restraint.
Through its imagery and symbolism, CASUAL WAR reflects the anxiety of a contemporary society living under the pressure of latent conflict and geopolitical instability. The exhibition becomes a meditation on the vulnerability of the global order and on how easily peace can be dismantled.
Crocodile Paradox – Breathing Through Gunpowder Dust
Sometimes, simply watching the landscape drift by through the window of a train carrying you slowly toward your destination can offer answers to long-forgotten questions. It can remind you that life is meant to be lived with joy and gentleness.
In a world that seems to be slowly sliding into darkness, we choose, always, to be the light.
Sit down and breathe. Listen to the sounds of nature. Listen to the music.
