”The Falling Man” is an acrobatic dance solo exploring the link between physical falling, emotional loss, and collective memory. Across myths and stories, falling marks transformation: from Adam and Eve’s loss of innocence to Alice’s plunge into Wonderland. Today we fall into grief, depression, and addiction. Yet physically, falling can also be graceful—a surrender of weight that becomes movement.
Set to Franz Heinrich Biber’s Mystery Sonatas, the choreography moves through suspension, imbalance, strength, and fragility, creating a living sculpture in dialogue with surrounding architecture.
