Alexis Michalik is a Franco-British playwright, director, actor, screenwriter, film director and writer. Created in 2011 and still performed in Paris, Le Porteur d'Histoire (The Bearer of History) is his first play, and won two Molières awards, in addition to great critical and public success. Since then, Alexis Michalik has written and directed four other shows, and recently adapted Mel Brooks’ celebrated musical The Producers. An acclaimed playwright and director, he has been awarded five Molières, including three as director.
