University of Michigan, Department of Theater and Drama
“7 Hours Difference” is an international collaboration project between New Bulgarian University in Sofia and University of Michigan, USA. We developed two works that bridge the gap between the genres of visual art, music, theater, and movement and explore similar themes and subject matters, but viewed from two very different cultures that are more than an ocean apart. How much does one need to be happy? – how many things, how much money, how much work, how much loneliness, how much care, how much dreaming, how much play…? But also, when is it too much, what happens when a line is crossed?
A choreographic metaphor about the need for communion in a world divided by visible and invisible borders.
