The performance “Behind the Mask” explores the theme of identity through a hybrid language at the intersection of contemporary dance and Commedia dell’arte.

Through a sequence of performative situations, the body becomes the site of a silent crisis, a space where confusion, fragmentation, and the tension between authenticity and representation unfold. The masks no longer conceal but reveal cracks, while theatre and dance become a pretext for the search for an essential self, fragile and constantly in the making.

A striking fusion of dance and theatre that peels back the layers of identity.
