TSCHICK. Why We Took the Car

A cool odyssey for the young. “TSCHICK. Why We Took the Car” tells the story of Maik and Tschick, two teenagers who believe in a world different from the one they have known at home and at school. Maik comes from a middle-class family, and his parents are long separated, although they still live under the same roof. Maik feels alienated by the outside world, and so does Tschick, whose family moved to Germany from Russia. They decide to run away from Berlin in a stolen car and set out on a journey to explore the real world and their own identity.

"A narrative with and about teenagers and the adults who mentor them, with an intimate feel, enjoyable to listen to and watch. [...] A must-see, a must-think about what happens when we come face to face with life and aren't prepared to deal with it." (Oltița Cîntec)
