Created in 1997, Cie Colbok draws on turbulent images of our time. We defend street arts and popular theatre which places a strong emphasis on interactivity with the spectator. Our playgrounds are all the places that can provide a pretext for a spectacular ambulatory intervention. Humour and poetry are the principles of our writing. The notion of universal laughter guides our desire to share our shows around the world. What touches us, amuses and exasperates us, we digest it and transform everyday life to make it funnier, more poetic, more acceptable.
