Nicholas is a young man going through a difficult time. After his parents’ divorce, he stays with his mother, Anne, while his father, Pierre, remarries and has a new baby with his second wife, Sophia. Unable to adapt to the new reality, Nicholas isolates himself away from school, away from friends and family. Soon, the memory of his smiling face, his contagious cheerfulness, seems to slip further and further away. Restoring his emotional balance proves to be more challenging than what both parents had expected, even after Nicholas moves in with his father.

"The show can be a story about a family, a broken family, a family that has been torn apart, whose remains build a house of loneliness and insecurity or that tries in vain to build another one, always in the shadow of the first one, always insecure and buried alive in memories." (Alina Maer)
