An honest, tragicomic, and occasionally irreverent performative essay – a sort of portrait of the miserable artist, who questions themselves and their motivations as well as the system in which they’re forced to operate.

Whether we choose to call it independent or private theatre, alternative or underground, whether we choose to call ourselves artists, cultural workers, or artist-producers, what unites all these experiences is that at their core are people who are determined to believe, to create, to move. This performance is about them.

"An example of contemporary performative discourse dealing with a topic of public interest, using minimal resources and maximum creativity." (Cristina Modreanu)
