An international icon and sacred monster of French cinema, Isabelle Adjani takes the stage for the first time at Festival dei Due Mondi to perform The Murmurs of the Soul in which she voices the texts of literary giants including Marguerite Duras, Annie Ernaux, Cynthia Fleury, Camille Laurens, Françoise Sagan, Neige Tigre Fred Vargas...
"I discovered the world of 'reading' fairly recently. It was relatively foreign to me. Not as a spectator, but as an actress," Adjani says. "It was an unknown pleasure. I would read Racine, or Duras.... It was like a revelation, producing a kind of exaltation."
A poetic and emotional acting feast signed by one of the most important artists of all time.
