“La Vie en Rose” is a dance of love par excellence. The couple is seen as one character made up of two entities, even though sometimes it’s all about solitudes joined together by chance. Caught up in the same moment. Joined by a song. By a few notes that one would hear only by casually passing by an open window, thus interfering with the secrecy of some other intimacy. As in life, couples get together and break up constantly. This time against the backdrop of a sound collage entwining themes from the golden age of the French chansonette.
With the same grace, Gigi Căciuleanu's typical gestural poetry offers a delight to all lovers of beauty.
