This performance brings to the audience the emotional fantasy of Frida Kahlo’s paintings, an image that exposes the artist’s mental degradation due to trauma, all through the theatrical-choreographic discovery of the invocation of the plastic universe of surrealism. The choreography captures the physical and psychological character of the artist capturing her fragility and at the same time the destroyed reality of her fantasy. It is a performance that urges us, through Frida’s story, to turn our sufferings into the main source of inspiration.
