“Beauty Beyond Words” is a performance composed by Chinese dance pieces created by the Beijing Dance Academy. The name comes from the famous Chinese philosopher Zhuangzi, meaning that the most beautiful need no word to describe, reflecting the word-free feature of dance in cultural exchange. The performance was first presented in 2007. The dance pieces could be the classic Chinese classical dance or Chinese ethnic and folk dance. This year, the performance includes 12 Chinese classical dance pieces which are most well-known in China and even around world.
