We decided to entitle this performance “Young Barbarians”. We have no intention to recount the lives of Bartók and Kodály, it would prove impossible. And we most certainly don’t want to tell a story or write a musical. In fact, our project is without purpose, it doesn’t lead anywhere, we didn’t find any message to convey or things to say. We sought echoes that could resonate with us today as they did one hundred years ago.
Vidnyánszky Attila Jr. – director of the play
"Fast paced, extremely energetic, live music, a serious dose of humor and satire, seductive acting compositions, a cluster of memorable directorial ideas!" (Irina Wolf)
