Isabelle Huppert

Isabelle Huppert, French actress, has appeared in more than 100 films and numerous productions. She has won many Best Actress Awards: at the Cannes Film Festival for Violette Nozière and The Piano Teacher, at the Moscow International Film Festival for Madame Bovary, at the Venice Film Festival for Une affaire de femmes and La Cérémonie, for which she also had the César Award. The jury of the Venice Film Festival awarded her a Special Golden Lion Award. She was Chairwoman of the Jury for the 62nd Edition of the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. She has recently earned several awards for Elle: the Gotham Award, Golden Globe Award, César Award and an Oscar nomination. In parallel with cinema, Isabelle Huppert has pursued her theatrical career on all world stages. She has acted under the direction of the greatest directors: Bob Wilson, Krzysztof Warlikowski, Luc Bondy, Claude Régy.
