“Poetic Consultations” is a project in collaboration with  Théâtre de la Ville in Paris, Teatro della Pergola in Florence, Teatrul Național „Radu Stanca” Sibiu, and other countries from around the world, which aims to bring theatre and theatrical activities closer to citizens and to contribute through culture to the care and image of the city for its inhabitants and for its visitors. A means to connect internal and external spaces: theatre, square and unusual places in the city. Since the first quarantine generated by the recent pandemic, 200 French and international artists have come together under Demarcy-Mota’s leadership to offer poetic consultations, first by telephone, then in public spaces, in hospitals, schools, universities and social centres. A poetry consultation is a 20-minute one-on-one conversation with an artist. It starts with a simple question: „How are you?” Based on the answer, a poem, dance or piece of music is selected by the artist and then read or performed.
