18 children and youngsters from the Bucharest community of the SOS Children's Villages organization, recently equipped with a library of over 1000 volumes, were invited to participate in the literary creation workshops initiated by pedagogue Corina Taraș-Lungu. The result consisted in 18 wonderful stories published in the “Humanitas Junior” collection, under the title Little Writers for Great Sages - accompanied by illustrations belonging to artists from the Illustrators’ Club. In order for these illustrated stories to not remain only between the covers of a volume with limited circulation, they were showcased in February of this year as part of a unique exhibition hosted by the "I.L. Caragiale" National Theatre of Bucharest. The event also arrives in Sibiu on the occasion of the 29th edition of the International Theater Festival.

We invite you to the opening of this exhibition on Friday, June 24, at 4 pm, in the foyer of the Astra Library (building B), which will be prefaced by Corina Taraș-Lungu, Mihaela Miroiu and Radu Vancu. The event will take the form of a reading show, the children's texts being read by the actors of the "Radu Stanca" National Theatre, Vlad Robaș and Arina Ioana Trif.
