The Iași-born artist Dragoș Pătrașcu comes to Sibiu with an exceptional exhibition of paintings, graphics and installations. As part of the exhibition visitors will also be able to view the work entitled Innocent sun, the poster work of this year’s edition of the Sibiu International Theatre Festival.

Dragoș Pătrașcu is a complex, mature artist, who interposes the grid with an artistic intelligence focused on the credible and reasonable. He draws like an architect and dreams like a pamphleteer. Between lucidity and despair, he places a veritable consciousness of time. Graphic designer Dan Erceanu, stated: „That certain quality of the artist of being always new, fresh, a quality that Serghei Djaghilev asked of Picasso- Amaze me, seems to come naturally to Dragoș Pătrașcu. I always considered that, even though he still has many things to say by means of his art, Dragoș Pătrașcu is already the author of a rich, varied oeuvre based on the absorption of the whole into a personal style.‟
