"Felii", a gift performance on the Digital Stage for World Theater Day

 On the occasion of World Theater Day, on March 27, the public will receive as a gift the performance "Felii", by Lia Bugnar, with Ofelia Popii, on the Digital Stage, the online platform of the "Radu Stanca" National Theater of Sibiu (TNRS). Furthermore, the Digital Stage offers the public two premieres in March: "Perfectly composed", directed by Alexandra Badea, and "Antigone. A requiem", by Thomas Köck after "Antigone" byz Sophocles, directed by Florin Vidamski.

"In February, we prepared a huge surprise for the viewers of the Digital Stage, who were given the opportunity to watch all the shows available on the platform by purchasing any type of subscription. Now, in the first month of spring, we come to you with a new gift! The premieres in March and the gift we offer on World Theater Day are opportunities to enjoy the miracle of theater in the online space, being performances that have already proven their value through the success they had on the stage of our Theater at the time of their premiere and until the present moment", said Constantin Chiriac, general director of the TNRS and president of the Sibiu International Theater Festival.

The perrformance "Perfectly composed", written and directed by Alexandra Badea, premiered in Sibiu in April 2018, being the author's first text written in Romanian. The cast is made up of the actors Ioana Cosma, Ali Deac, Iustinian Turcu, Gabriela Pîrlițeanu, Fabiola Petri, Alexandru Malaicu, Cendana Trifan, Ștefan Tunsoiu, Andrei Gîlcescu, Horia Fedorca, costumes are made by Ana Ienașcu, and the music is authored by Claudiu Urse.

"Antigone. A requiem" places in a cruel light the social and political tensions of the moment, offering us an x-ray of inter-human conflicts and, possibly, a form of collective redemption. The show premiered on stage in December 2022 and is presented in German, with Romanian subtitles. The cast consists of the actors Theodora Sandu, Fabiola Petri, Daniel Plier, Emőke Boldizsár, Yannick Becker, Benedikt Haefner, Johanna Adam, Gyan Ros Zimmermann, Anke Parusel, Ana Tiepac, Patrick Imbrescu, Jannick Sulger, Eva Frațilă. The creative team is a large one: dramaturgy - Réka Dunkler, scenovideo and light design - Zsolt Bordos, costumes - Cristina Milea, sound space - Alex Halka, choreography - Edith Buttingsrud Pedersen.

In "Felii", a single actress, with seven identities and just as many fascinating characters, invites the viewer on an alert journey through the abysses of the female soul that suffers, loves and forgives with equal intensity. Ofelia Popii offers us through the performance "Felii", signed by Lia Bugnar, a hallucinatory experience, composing, with incredible versatility, a wide score of emotions and individualities that probes various scenarios of interpersonal relationships, in a universal story about women’s fragility and strength. The scenography and light design are signed by Dragoş Buhagiar, choreography: Florin Fieroiu, music and sound design: Vlaicu Golcea.

On the Digital Stage, the monthly, quarterly and annual subscription includes all 60 shows available, to which two premiere productions are added every month. Theater, film, dance and music lovers can choose the 12-month subscription at the price of 6 months, respectively 299 lei, and the 3-month subscription at the price of 2 months, respectively 89 lei. The monthly subscription costs 49 lei/month. Spectators can also opt for the individual ticket, which allows watching a certain show for the price of 30 lei. During the validity period of the subscription, the shows can be watched anytime, anywhere and as many times as one desires. The individual ticket is available four hours after activation and choice of the viewing time slot.
