“The Forced Marriage”, one of Molière’s most important comedies, shows us the famous character Sganarelle in a situation as difficult as it is ridiculous. An older man pursues a very beautiful, but frivolous lady, and wishes to marry her. Sganarelle is rich, while she, Dorimena, comes from a poor family. Oh, but how hard it is for the inveterate bachelor to part with his freedom! Just how much does this poor gentleman fear and hesitate to take this step towards his happiness?

A modern and dynamic show in which dance, music, and la joie de vivre pay tribute to perhaps the greatest comedy writer of all times: Molière.
